Ikore is seeking a talented and experienced Human Resource Officer to join our team. This role is pivotal to our mission, as it involves nurturing our most valuable asset: our people. The Human Resource Officer will play a crucial role in shaping our organizational culture, managing talent, and ensuring that our staff is aligned with our vision of driving sustainable development.
Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement effective strategies for talent acquisition, including recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Employee Development: Create and manage a professional development plan to help employees reach their full potential. Organize training programs and workshops.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures that align with Ikore’s values and objectives.
- Conflict Resolution: Address employee concerns and conflicts, working to maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Benefits Administration: Administer and manage employee benefit programs, ensuring competitive and attractive compensation packages.
- Employee Engagement: Promote a positive workplace culture, employee engagement, and employee recognition programs.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations in Nigeria.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports for management.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. A master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in HR management, preferably in the international development sector.
- Thorough understanding of Nigerian labour laws and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ethical and trustworthy, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for developing and nurturing talent.
