MEDLOG is the inland logistics arm of MSC Group. The company operates worldwide and provides door-to-door transport and logistics services, using a network of trucks, trains, barges, depots, terminals, and warehouses.
Job Description
- This is a key leadership role where you will manage essential HR functions and be at the forefront of aligning our HR strategies with business goals.
- Reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources, MEDLOG Nigeria, you will have the opportunity to:
Responsibilities
- Strategic Alignment: Act as a key liaison between senior managers, functional leaders, and HR to ensure HR strategies support business objectives.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent and ensure our teams are equipped for success.
- Performance Management: Provide guidance to management on performance issues, coaching, and career development.
- Compensation & Benefits: Oversee payroll management and benefits to ensure competitive practices.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment, manage conflicts, and address employee grievances.
- Expatriate Management: Work closely with the Head of HR and CFO to manage expat-related matters.
- Training & Development: Assess needs, develop programs, and promote a culture of continuous learning.
- HR Operations: Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, regulatory requirements.
- Metrics and Analytics: Develop and track HR metrics to measure program effectiveness and inform business decisions.
Qualification
- Experience: Proven track record as an HR Business Partner or similar HR role, with at least 8 years in a reputable organization. Experience in supply chain/logistics is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Expertise in compensation, performance management, and talent acquisition.
- Qualifications: Degree in Human Resources or related field, CIPM certification or similar. Experience with expat management is a plus.
- Language: Proficiency in English.
