Femi Falana, a prominent human rights lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, has confirmed that Omowunmi, the wife of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad, visited his office to seek justice for her late husband. Mohbad’s sudden and mysterious death on September 12, 2023, has raised concerns and calls for a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding his passing.
Falana stated that Mohbad’s widow sought support in her quest for justice during her visit to his office. He expressed his condolences to her and the entire Aloba family and assured them of his unwavering commitment to uncovering the truth about the Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter’s untimely demise.
Furthermore, Falana disclosed that he had met with the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Idowu Owohunwa, to discuss the ongoing police investigation into the matter. During the meeting, he was provided with updates on the progress of the investigation, indicating that the police are actively looking into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.
