Nigerian Afrobeat star Ice Prince Zamani is under fire as his babymama, Abi Gram, has accused him of parental negligence.
In a series of emotional Instagram posts, Abi Gram alleged that his lack of involvement in their son’s life has caused both emotional and financial strain, leading to their child being hospitalized.
Abi Gram, the mother of Ice Prince’s son, took to Instagram to express her frustration, accusing the rapper of failing to fulfill his parental duties. While stating that she intended to start the year drama-free, she revealed that circumstances forced her to speak up.
Abi disclosed that their strained relationship began when she stood as surety for Ice Prince during his legal case, only to be abandoned and gaslit by the rapper. She explained that the aftermath of the incident led her landlord to double her rent, and despite seeking Ice Prince’s help to cover half of the cost, he declined, instead suggesting she move to his family house in Jos.
According to Abi, her son returned from spending the holidays with Ice Prince without essential provisions and arrived at school with dirty clothes. She also alleged finding inappropriate content on her son’s phone after a visit to his father’s family.
The accusations didn’t stop there, as Abi claimed Ice Prince has neglected their son emotionally, physically, and financially, leading to his hospitalization.
In an interview, Ice Prince revealed that he wasn’t in a relationship, citing emotional and financial challenges. While he admitted to being a “lover boy” who falls deeply in love, past traumas have made it difficult for him to find a stable partner.
Over the years, Ice Prince has been romantically linked to various women. His first known relationship in Lagos was with singer Eva Alordiah. Later, he dated Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson, but their busy schedules led to a breakup. He also had a brief relationship with fashion designer Yvonne Nwosu and a more publicized romance with French-Ghanaian beauty Maima in 2014, which ended amid infidelity rumors.
Most recently, media personality Moet Abebe claimed in 2022 that she had been in a 12-year relationship with Ice Prince. However, the rapper denied being in any relationship at the time, reinforcing his stance on love and its complexities.
