ANDRU SPACES, a leading interior design company under the flagship of ANDRU LIVING, is seeking a versatile and skilled professional to join our dynamic team at ANDRU SPACES as an Interior Architect. This role involves a blend of architectural design expertise and practical building maintenance skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing interior spaces, overseeing projects from concept to completion, and ensuring the ongoing maintenance and functionality of building systems.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, goals, and constraints for interior design projects.
- Develop creative and functional design concepts that align with client needs, budget considerations, and project timelines.
- Produce detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software for interior layouts, finishes, and furnishings.
- Select and specify materials, fixtures, furniture, lighting, and other interior elements based on aesthetic, functional, and technical criteria.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of interior design concepts with building systems.
- Perform regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify maintenance needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC system checks, plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and carpentry work as needed.
- Assist in the planning and execution of building improvement projects, renovations, and upgrades, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, project progress, and client communications.
- Stay updated with industry trends, building technologies, and sustainable design practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Building Maintenance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of combined experience in interior architecture/design and building maintenance or facilities management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other design software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects and technical maintenance skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of building systems, mechanical systems, and construction methods.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and operate maintenance equipment as required.

Salary:
350,000 NGN – 400,000 NGN
