Today, the Israeli government has urged 32 nations to implement sanctions against Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and missile project.
Iran launched an unprecedented direct attack on Israel late Saturday, deploying over 300 drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles in response for a fatal air strike on the Iranian embassy in Damascus on April 1.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military said it intercepted 99 percent of the aircraft threats with the assistance of the United States and other partners, and that the strike caused only minimal damage, including to a military installation in the country’s southern region.
Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz announced a diplomatic effort against Iran.
“Alongside the military response to the firing of the missiles and the UAVs, I am leading a diplomatic offensive against Iran.
“This morning, I sent letters to 32 countries and spoke with dozens of foreign ministers and leading figures around the world, calling for sanctions to be imposed on the Iranian missile project and that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps be declared a terrorist organisation,” Foreign Minister Israel Katz stated on X.
