The supportive shout-outs to Davido were a testament to the strong relationship between the two, with Israel DMW consistently acknowledging Davido’s role in his accomplishments.

Recently, Ubi Franklin, Chioma’s talent manager, also took to social media to thank Davido for a luxury car worth millions of Naira. This gesture sparked a debate among netizens who questioned Davido’s priorities.
Critics pointed out that despite Davido’s generosity towards his associates, there were concerns about his daughter, Imade Adeleke, and her transportation needs. The issue gained traction following Davido’s ongoing child custody battle with Sophia Momodu. In court documents, Davido had mentioned that Imade missed several school days due to transportation issues, a claim Sophia Momodu supported by stating that the car provided by Davido was often in poor condition.
Davido reportedly addressed the situation by sending an additional luxury car, bringing the total to two vehicles for Imade’s use. This move aimed to ensure Imade’s reliable transportation to school, addressing some of the criticisms.
