We are seeking a qualified IT support officer to join the team at our office in Lagos, Nigeria.
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problems, and determines and implements solutions.
Responsibilities
Technical Support:
- Provide first-line support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Diagnosed and troubleshot technical issues, including vendor’s account setup and network configuration.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. Job
- Escalate issues to appropriate IT staff if necessary.
System Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance on vendor and user accounts, network configurations, and system backups.
- Ensure all systems and networks operate efficiently and securely.
- Apply software updates and patches to maintain security and functionality.
User Training:
- Provide training to end-users on new systems, software, and hardware.
- Create and maintain user guides and documentation.
Qualification
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT
- Minimum 2 years of IT Support experience.
- Strong communication skills via phone and email.
- Experience with Canva and any other design platform.
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
- Strong desire and ability to grow within the company.
