Ivy Ifeoma, the pregnant wife of Paul Okoye from the famous music duo Psquare, has taken to her Instagram story to address the relentless trolls that have been targeting her and other celebrities.
In a candid message, Ivy expressed her disappointment in those who leave hate comments for fun, recognition, or monetary gain.
She noted that while she has encountered many trolls and has become unfazed by them, she is particularly disheartened by those who try to justify their negative behavior as mere “cruising” or a way to seek attention from celebrities. Ivy urged these individuals to consider how embarrassing it is to engage in such behaviour, as it often makes them look foolish.
I’ve come across a lot of trolls, and nothing fazes me, tbh, so this isn’t really about me. But, for some of these people, the moment they got a tad bit of attention, they changed the narrative to be, ‘It’s just a cruise’; it’s not that serious, ‘I just wanted your attention’. I love you; please help me/help my family,” Ivy wrote.
She continued by stating,
I wish you could understand how embarrassing it is to drop hate comments for fun, recognition, or more. Lol, not everyone has Chike’s heart. They’re out to play now because of 1m. 1kobo, you no go see. Just save yourself the embarrassment, please 100% of the time, you really do look stupīd here.”
Ivy Ifeoma’s relationship with Paul Okoye has been under intense scrutiny since it became public. Despite her efforts to remain strong, she has admitted in the past that the hurtful comments from social media users affect her. Some online critics have unfairly labeled her a “homewrecker,” accusing her of playing a role in the breakdown of Paul’s previous marriage to Anita Okoye.
