Actress and filmmaker Iyabo Ojo has penned a heartfelt open letter to the son of controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo, urging him to forgive his mother and support her during these challenging times.
Iyabo Ojo expressed her understanding and sympathy for the family’s situation, acknowledging the difficulties they have faced. She implored Kemi Olunloyo’s son and his siblings, despite being raised by different fathers, to come together and provide the love and care their mother needs now more than ever.
In her message, shared on Instagram, Iyabo Ojo wrote,
Dear Aunty Kemi’s sons, I understand your family’s situation well, and my heart goes out to you all. I beg you to forgive your mother and come together to support her. Despite being raised differently and having different fathers, your mother needs your love and care now more than ever. Especially you, her first son, who has disowned her – please reconsider and forgive her.”
Ojo also extended her sympathy to Kemi Olunloyo, expressing a willingness to assist her financially if needed. She urged Olunloyo to reach out for help with food or medication expenses, reaffirming her promise to pray for her and offering love and support during this difficult period.
“Remember, your mother’s mental health and well-being depend on your love and care. She’s getting older and needs you most now. Please come together and support her,” she concluded.
