Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo is beaming with excitement as she prepares for her daughter Priscilla’s highly anticipated wedding to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux in April.
Ahead of the grand event, Iyabo took to Instagram to express gratitude to two of her close friends, Chioma Ikokwu and Dr. Rommel, for their generous financial contributions toward the wedding preparations. Sharing screenshots of the credit alerts, the elated actress revealed that Chioma gifted her $5000, while Dr. Rommel sent her a whopping ₦5 million.
In her heartfelt post, Iyabo highlighted the value of having supportive friends, stating,
When your friends have got your back, you know you’re unstoppable!” She also reiterated her promise to host an unforgettable celebration, saying, “It’s going to be a shutdown!”
Iyabo’s post underscores the power of friendship and the importance of a strong support system. Captioning her gratitude-filled post, she wrote:

The announcement comes on the heels of a bridesmaid soiree organized for Priscilla, during which Iyabo promised to make her daughter’s wedding the talk of Lagos.
Iyabo has been vocal about her desire for Priscilla to follow in her footsteps by marrying young and building a family. In a March 2024 interview, the actress mentioned her wish for her daughter to embrace early marriage but clarified that she wouldn’t pressure her.
Her dream became a reality when Priscilla introduced Juma Jux to her family during his birthday celebration in August 2024. Iyabo warmly welcomed him into the Ojo family, describing her household as “extra” and expressing her love for her soon-to-be son-in-law.
In another interview earlier this year, Iyabo praised Juma Jux, describing him as family-oriented and the perfect match for Priscilla.
