After weeks away on Omugwo duties for her daughter Priscilla, Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo is back in Nigeria, and her return has stirred joy among fans and colleagues. In videos circulating online, the actress was spotted at the airport in a chic black outfit alongside fellow actress Toyin Abraham.

On her Snapchat, Iyabo playfully announced her arrival, saying,

Tell me you’re back in Nigeria without telling me you’re back. Hey, I am back. Hello Nigeria, hello Lagos, what’s popping?”

Iyabo’s return comes after spending over a month in Canada, where she supported her daughter Priscilla and her Tanzanian husband, Juma Jux, who welcomed their first child, Prince Raheem Ayomide Mkambala, on August 24th. Following the baby’s 40-day celebration in Tanzania, Iyabo took to Instagram to appreciate well-wishers for their love and prayers.

Shortly after her return, the “Under the Carpet” actress gave fans a virtual tour of her newly renovated office, expressing deep gratitude to God for restoring her business stronger than before. She also extended appreciation to her loyal customers for their continued support.

A huge thank you to each and every one of you! Special thanks to God Almighty for bringing me back stronger than ever. To our amazing customers, we appreciate your loyalty and support. You’re the reason we’re still going strong,” she shared.

Iyabo’s message carried a strong sense of resilience, especially considering the fire outbreak that affected her office building in July. She had shared a video of the incident, thanking the Nigerian Fire Service and her staff for their swift response and expressing relief that no lives were lost.

During the same period, the actress faced public backlash from individuals who hurled curses at her in connection with the late Mohbad’s case. Responding via Instagram, Iyabo clarified that she never accused anyone of the singer’s death and condemned those spreading hate against her and her family.

Despite the controversies, Iyabo continues to receive love from friends and colleagues. Actress Lola Alao praised her as a kind-hearted and selfless person who always stands up for others. Similarly, Opeyemi Aiyeola described her as a strong woman who remains an angel to many despite facing numerous challenges.
