Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo is brimming with joy as her daughter, Priscilla, is showered with love and warmth by her Tanzanian in-laws. Priscilla, who is dating Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, was warmly received at the Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar Es Salaam, complete with traditional drumming, singing, and a convoy of cars.
After a week in Nigeria, where Juma Jux celebrated his birthday, the couple returned to Tanzania to a hero’s welcome. Priscilla was greeted with open arms by Juma’s family and the women of Mkambala, who presented her with a frame of their engagement photo and several gifts. This gesture deeply touched Iyabo Ojo, who took to Instagram to express her gratitude.
Sharing her excitement on Instagram, Iyabo Ojo penned a heartfelt note, appreciating the women of Mkambala for their acceptance and warm hospitality towards her daughter. She also gave a special shout-out to her future in-law, Fatma, hinting at her future role as “Iya Iyawo” (Mother of the Bride).
In her post, she wrote:
Thank you so much to the beautiful women of Mkambala for the acceptance and warm welcome of my precious daughter. A special thank you to my beautiful, energetic, superb, and amazing in-law.”
Iyabo Ojo’s excitement about her daughter’s relationship is no secret.
