Jaji: AFCSC to conduct military exercise, asks residents to keep off

The Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC) at Jaji, Kaduna, has announced a field training exercise named “Ubiak-Isin” for Junior Course 96 students.

The exercise will take place from December 1 to 6 in Wusono, Anguwan Loya, and Camp Salaya general areas of Igabi Local Government Area, Kaduna State, according to Maj. Umar Adamu, a spokesman for the institution.

“During this period, there will be a massive movement of military personnel and equipment to and from the exercise area,” Adamu stated in a statement made accessible to journalists in Kaduna on Tuesday.

Residents around the practise area were urged to remain calm and not panic if they saw troops or equipment moving or heard the sounds of explosives and small firearms.

He pleased withe residents of the community to avoid the exercise area during the period, assuring them that all necessary procedures had been made to protect the general security and safety of the region.
