Jaywon reflects on Diddy’s assault case, sharing valuable lessons on social media, sparking both support and backlash from followers.
Nigerian singer Jaywon Juwonlo has stirred online discussions after revealing the lessons he learned from American rapper Diddy’s recent assault case. The case has drawn widespread attention and criticism after a video of Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, was released by CNN. Despite Diddy’s public apology on Sunday, many have not accepted his remorse.
Jaywon took to Instagram to share his thoughts, advising his followers to pray against finding themselves in situations where they have to apologize for actions taken in their darkest moments. He highlighted how even those who are worse can become harsh judges and critics.
Jaywon’s Instagram Post reads:
A lot to learn from this Diddy’s story. Pray you never find yourself in a place where you have to apologize for things you did in your dark moments or make mistakes that will be so horrible to make right, cuz even the people who are worst than you will judge and crucify you.”
As expected, Jaywon’s statement received mixed reactions. Some social media users criticized him, interpreting his message as a justification for bad behaviour:
– One user, Big Nimms, remarked, “This is why Ayra Starr dey avoid you, lmao. Always finding ways to justify bad behaviors.”
– Another, Tomi Drey, commented, “Lok guilty conscience dey worry all of una. Dark moment.”
– Rosbliz noted, “Wrong is wrong, if you like commit it in your dark or light moment.”
Similarly, Tiwa Savage’s baby daddy, Teebillz, openly supported Diddy, praising him for his parenting and mentorship. Teebillz shared that Diddy inspired him to teach his kids not to idolize anyone and prayed for the well-being of Diddy’s children.
Earlier, Jaywon had also sent a message to Odumodublvck amidst their ongoing feud. After Odumodublvck defended Burna Boy in a recent controversy, Jaywon criticized him, saying,
Anyone the gods want to kill, they first make deaf.”
Jaywon also expressed his belief that Eedris Abdulkareem, despite his arrogance, made significant contributions to the industry, a trait he sees mirrored in Burna Boy. This led to a heated exchange, with Odumodublvck retorting by mocking Jaywon using Ayra Starr.
