In a recent interview with former skit maker Bae-U, veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko made headlines with his comments on President Tinubu and his views on voting rights.

Kosoko, a prominent figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry, defended his support for President Tinubu, expressing his belief in the President’s efforts to improve the country.

Kosoko stated that no one was coerced into voting for President Tinubu, emphasizing that he himself voted willingly. He praised Tinubu’s work and suggested that those who understand the complexities of national repair would appreciate his efforts.

When questioned by Bae-U about whether his support for Tinubu was influenced by the President’s Yoruba heritage or his fondness for traditional attire like ‘Agbada,’ Kosoko clarified that his support stemmed from a long-standing acquaintance with Tinubu. He also noted that Tinubu’s involvement in the fight for Nigeria’s democracy was a key factor in his support.
