The Jigawa state government has approved a two-hour reduction in official working hours during the 2023 Ramadan fasting period.
The Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila said in a statement to journalists.
Civil servants in the state will be in the office at 9 am, from Monday through Thursday and close by 3 pm instead of 5 pm, according to a statement.
“While on Friday, workers would report by 9 am and close by 1 pm,” he said.
