Joke Jigan says pregnancy is a blessing, but she’s officially done with it. The Nollywood actress, who recently welcomed her second child, made this clear in a candid post on Instagram.
Opening up about life after childbirth, the Yoruba movie star confessed she hasn’t had a proper night’s sleep in a long time. She also admitted that balancing motherhood with work has become a struggle, especially when it comes to filming content for her business.
“Pregnancy is a blessing, but I won’t be doing it again. I tell you that.
Can’t remember the last time I had a good sleep, to even do Business video sef na war,” she wrote.
Just last month, Joke shared the joyful news of her newborn—a baby boy named Mateo. She expressed gratitude to God for safely bringing her bundle of joy into the world.
The actress tied the knot with her partner, Jegun Mah, in a court wedding held at the Ikoyi Registry in July 2023. A few days later, the couple hosted their traditional wedding, surrounded by close friends and loved ones.
Since tying the knot, Joke has often praised her husband and mother-in-law on social media. From receiving a brand-new car as a birthday gift to flaunting wigs worth millions gifted by her man, the actress hasn’t held back in expressing how loved and cherished she feels in her marriage.
