According to reports, Jude Bellingham has completed medical tests as a Real Madrid player and is set to be unveiled at the Bernabeu next week.
Bellingham had interest from Liverpool and Manchester City in the Premier League. Real Madrid appears to have won the race for his signature as the 19-year-old has gone through his medical and signed a contract.
A Dortmund club statement said:
Jude Bellingham is about to transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid. The parties have reached an agreement today. The contractual details still have to be coordinated and documented.
Jude Bellingham was named the Bundesliga’s Player of the Year, as Dortmund lost the title race to Bayern Munich.
The deal reportedly cost Real Madrid 103 million euros. Transfer fees are dependent on the achievement of certain sporting achievements by Real Madrid. And also sporting achievement or performance by the player over the next six seasons.
