Tanzanian singer Juma Jux melted hearts when he was seen sharing a special moment with late Nigerian singer Mohbad’s son, Liam, at a recent event.
In a touching clip, Juma Jux, the groom, is captured warmly shaking hands with Liam, who served as his little groom and ring bearer. Both were dressed in matching outfits, making the scene even more endearing.
Liam’s presence at the wedding reminded many of his growing bond with Iyabo Ojo and her family. Liam had earlier attended Priscilla Ojo’s bridal shower with his mother, where a viral clip showed his innocent confusion about the event as he shyly avoided bonding moments with the bride.
Iyabo Ojo, known for her generosity, has been a steadfast supporter of Mohbad’s widow and their son. On Liam’s first birthday in 2023, she celebrated him with a heartfelt message, calling him a superstar and showering him with prayers.
Last year, Liam charmed many when a video of him dancing with Iyabo’s daughter, Priscilla, and Chioma Good Hair surfaced online. Chioma, touched by the moment, prayed for Mohbad’s soul to rest in peace.
Although Iyabo later stepped back from actively advocating for justice in Mohbad’s case due to backlash, she expressed her sadness over the late singer’s untimely death. She remains hopeful that justice will eventually be served.
Mohbad, formerly signed to Naira Marley’s record label, tragically passed away at the young age of 27 under unclear circumstances on September 12, 2023.
