Kolo Toure, a former defender for Manchester City and Arsenal, believes Pep Guardiola’s team will defeat Mikel Arteta’s team when they face off in the Premier League on Wednesday at the Etihad Stadium.
In addition, Toure discussed the ongoing battle for the Premier League title between Manchester City and Arsenal. Although Man City has two games in hand, Arsenal currently leads the table by five points.
When asked which of his two former clubs he would want to win the title, the Ivorian refused to pick one side and said (via FourFourTwo):
“It is an incredible title race right now between two great teams and two great managers.
“For me, when I watch games these days, I just try and analyze – those two clubs, I played for them, so I love them.”
On his prediction for Wednesday’s clash, Kolo Toure added,
“There have been a few draws lately from Arsenal. Manchester City are winning games, they are playing well and I would say they have more chances. Football is football and anything can happen but in my opinion… It will be Man City, as they have the momentum to win.”
