Sensational dancer Korra Obidi has officially become a U.S. citizen, marking a major milestone in her journey. The Nigerian-born entertainer shared the exciting news with her fans just hours ago, revealing that she was sworn in alongside other immigrants.
Taking to social media, Korra expressed gratitude for her achievement, calling herself a “small girl with a big God.”
Her announcement sparked an outpouring of congratulations from fans and fellow celebrities.
Fickle cheered,
BIG KORRA BIG CONGRATULATIONS!” while Sonia Bluxuries added, “Congratulations Ada Delta State, we move. PERIOD.” Media personality Nancy Isime also joined in, writing, “Yayy! Happy to see your dreams come true, Hun!”
Jane Mena showered praises, calling her “gorgeously talented, beautiful, and amazing,” while others hailed her as a “child of grace” and “God’s favorite.”
Korra’s journey to this point hasn’t been without challenges. She and her ex-husband, Justin Dean, went through a highly publicized divorce, which was finalized on November 19, 2022. Despite legal battles, including Justin’s attempt to gain full custody of their children, the court granted them joint custody.
During the separation, Korra revealed on Facebook Live that she was solely handling their children’s expenses, from school fees to health insurance, while Justin allegedly sought spousal support.
