Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has stirred reactions online after poking fun at his colleagues Taye Arimoro and Peggy Ovire over a movie set altercation.
Last week, Arimoro shared a viral video accusing Peggy and her team of assaulting him on set. He claimed Peggy had instructed her driver to block his car and deflate his tires, leaving him with visible injuries to his gums and lips. In response, Peggy accused Taye of assaulting two of her crew members.
CCTV footage later surfaced showing Peggy in a heated confrontation, yanking off her wig and handing someone a phone, contradicting her earlier claims. Following the incident, Taye filed a legal complaint demanding a public apology and N100 million in compensation.
Reacting to the drama, Kunle Remi took to Instagram with a humorous video recalling the chaos. Tired from work, he jokingly referenced the incident:
When you are tired on set, and remember they can puncture your tyre and beat you.”
The post drew reactions from several Nollywood stars, including Efe Irele, Ini Dima Okojie, Allwell Ademola, Jide Awobona, Etinosa Idemudia, Gabriel Afolayan, Omowunmi Dada, Sharon Ooja, Kamo State, and Idia Aisien. Taye Arimoro responded with a blunt, “Ode”, while others expressed amusement and disbelief through comments and emojis.
Kunle Remi has previously addressed industry controversies, including rumors linking him to homosexuality. The married actor emphasized that he values his personal space and energy and does not entertain baseless claims. He had once revealed an encounter with a prominent gay entertainer who tried to convince him to engage in sexual acts in exchange for fame and wealth, which he resisted.
