Former best friends Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods have reconnected, four years after their friendship was fractured by NBA star Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal.
New images captured the lip kit mogul, 25, and the social media model, 25, enjoying a dinner together in Los Angeles on Saturday night. Despite the past turmoil, the former BFFs appeared to be in high spirits, arriving and leaving the sushi restaurant together.
The reunion comes after a dramatic turn of events in 2019 when Jordyn and Tristan, Khloe Kardashian’s then-boyfriend and the father of her child, had an encounter at a party. Woods later confessed to sharing a kiss with Tristan during an emotional interview on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk. The revelation shattered her friendship with Kylie Jenner and strained relations with the Kardashian family.
The incident ultimately led to Khloe’s decision to end her relationship with Tristan.
Jordyn recalled the details, stating,
I was drunk. I was not tipsy, I was drunk. But I was not beyond the point of recollection. I know where I was. But, on the way out [of Tristan’s house] he did kiss me.” She clarified that it was a simple kiss on the lips, without any passion or further involvement. She took responsibility for allowing herself to be in that situation.
The aftermath left Jordyn feeling shocked and immediately leaving Tristan’s house. She recounted, “I got in the car and was like, ‘No, that didn’t happen.’ I [told him] I need to go. I was in shock.”
Jordyn’s admission about the kiss caused a swift end to her friendship with Kylie Jenner and severed ties with the Kardashian/Jenner family. Additionally, Khloe decided to part ways with Tristan at that time, although they later briefly reconciled before facing further cheating allegations.
The recent reunion between Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods raises questions about the possibility of rekindling their friendship and moving forward from the past. Only time will tell if this meeting signifies a renewed bond or simply a casual catch-up between former best friends.
