Eleven Queen’s College, Lagos, students will represent Nigeria in the First Lego League (FLL) Asia Pacific Open Championship in Sydney, Australia. The pupils departed Nigeria on Monday for Sydney, where they will compete in a robotics competition beginning on June 29.

The pupils won first place in the Robotics National Competition in 2021, qualifying them to represent Nigeria in the FLL tournament in Greece.

However, they were unable to go to Greece due to COVID-19 limitations.

The children had also finished second in the Robotics National Competition in 2022, qualifying them to represent the country in Brazil for the same tournament, but they were unable to go.
