Many people were injured in an accident on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Monday morning. The accident occurred at Km 14 on the highway, involving a truck and several other vehicles.
There have been several accidents on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway where trucks commonly used to transport cattle collided with vehicles coming from behind and in front.
A federal road safety official, who spoke anonymously, told reporters that at least four injured people were taken to a nearby hospital.
“Two children, an adult male, and a female, were involved,” he said.
According to him, efforts continued to identify any other casualties and clear the truck from the road.
The FRSC Ogun Division spokesperson, Florence Okpe, could not be reached for her reaction.
