Nigerian comedian Lasisi Elenu and his wife have joyfully welcomed their second child, a baby boy named River Elroi Adedamini Adewunmi Nosagie Anyalewechi Afolabi. The proud father shared the news on Instagram, describing his son’s name as a symbol of life, abundance, and God’s unending grace.
Just a few months ago, Lasisi humorously announced that his wife was expecting again, teasing that she “lost her guard and got knocked up.” He even called on diaper and baby formula brands to reach out as they were about to welcome a new customer.
Last month, the couple revealed in a playful video that they were expecting a baby boy, sharing laughter and excitement ahead of the birth.
On Thursday evening, Lasisi finally introduced his son to the world, quoting John 7:38:
“Whoever believes in me, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
He expressed gratitude, saying their “flowing water” had arrived — a true testimony of joy and divine grace.
“Meet our son, River Elroi. Our RIVER of flowing waters is here — our JOY, our TESTIMONY, our GIFT from God.”
Fans and celebrities filled his comment section with love. Media personality Kiekie wrote, “For a River never runs dry, you’re blessed, sweet son.” Others congratulated the family, describing the baby’s name as both powerful and symbolic.
