Famous Nigerian skit maker and actor, Nosa Afolabi, popularly known as Lasisi Elenu, took to social media to pen an emotional note celebrating his daughter, Rain Olanma Oluwanifemi Afolabi, as she turns one on October 5, 2023.
In a touching video compilation, Lasisi Elenu shared moments of his daughter’s growth, including the heartwarming instance when he first welcomed her into the world. The accompanying voiceover expressed his deep bond with his baby girl, and he couldn’t contain his emotions as he reflected on the joy of being a parent.
You came into our lives literally a few days ago, and now you are a year old. Thank you, God, for the opportunity given to us, to love you, care for you, be beautiful parents to you, and, more than anything, thank you for being a blessing to us,” Lasisi Elenu shared.

This celebration marks a significant milestone for Lasisi Elenu and his fiancée, who joyously announced the arrival of their first child in late October 2022. The couple had a private baby shower, attended by celebrities, prior to Rain’s birth.
