Nollywood actor and movie producer Lateef Adedimeji is basking in the joy of receiving an award at the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) for his exceptional role as “GBOTIJA” in Femi Adebayo’s movie, “Jagun Jagun.”
Lateef Adedimeji took to his Instagram page to share a clip from the ceremony, expressing his excitement and gratitude.
In the post, Lateef Adedimeji mentioned that being honored on stage alongside the legends of Nollywood was one of the highlights of his career. He pledged to cherish the proud moment and extended massive thanks to AFRIFF for the recognition.

This recognition follows the emotional journey shared by Mo Bimpe, Lateef Adedimeji’s wife, who revealed the intense pain and dedication her husband endured while filming “Jagun Jagun.” Despite breaking his leg during the shoot, Lateef’s resilience and talent left a lasting impression, earning him accolades and now an award at AFRIFF.
