Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji couldn’t contain his excitement after meeting veteran actor Nkem Owoh, popularly known as Osuofia.
Taking to Instagram, Lateef shared a heartwarming video capturing the moment he met the comedy legend on a movie set. In the clip, Nkem Owoh is seen seated on a sofa when Lateef approached him respectfully, bowing as they exchanged pleasantries.
Expressing his admiration, Lateef described the encounter as an honour, calling the veteran a true icon whose immense talent and lasting legacy have reshaped Nollywood. He noted that Nkem Owoh’s influence on the film industry remains unmatched and will never be forgotten.

The actor also prayed for Nkem Owoh’s continued good health and happiness, thanking him for his remarkable contributions to the Nigerian movie industry.
This emotional moment comes months after Lateef reflected on his journey in Nollywood, admitting that his path to success wasn’t easy but was worth every challenge. Earlier this year, he recounted how his mentor once told him he would fail within a year in the Yoruba movie industry, yet today, he stands as one of Nollywood’s most respected actors.
