Strategic Partnerships: Find, develop, and secure partnerships with banks, FinTechs, Telcos, and others

We empower African enterprises with intelligent, AI-driven solutions that streamline operations and drive efficiency. Our mission is to revolutionize finance through cutting-edge technology, making world-class intelligence accessible to businesses across the continent.

Since our launch in September 2021, we’ve developed tech solutions that help over 120k small businesses manage their bookkeeping, generate invoices, and provide receipts. Now, we’re expanding our offerings to include financial services, continuing our journey to support small businesses and stimulate economic growth across Africa.

Role summary:

You’ll build strong relationships and show how valuable our solutions are to businesses across the continent. You’ll be researching, planning, securing, and executing partnerships with banks, telecom companies, and other FinTechs, boosting our brand presence.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnerships: Find, develop, and secure partnerships with banks, FinTechs, Telcos, and other big enterprises.
  • Market Research: Research to understand what our target audience needs and identify potential partners.
  • Collaboration Plans: Create plans for key partners focusing on product adoption and customer success.
  • KPIs and Reporting: Measure and report KPIs to ensure our partnerships drive revenue.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships with partners and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and progress.
  • Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitors to understand their strengths within strategic partnerships.

Qualification

  • Experience: 5+ years in business development, with 3+ years in partnerships/collaborations in banks, FinTechs, or telecom sectors.
  • Connections: Strong connections with banks, FinTechs, Telcos, and other big enterprises in Africa.
  • Proven Success: A track record of building successful partnerships that deliver results.
  • Passion and Curiosity: Passionate about clients, curious about technology, and ready for challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Clear communicator who can build trust and confidence with everyone.
  • Relationship Management: Great at managing a variety of relationships successfully.
  • Revenue and Project Management: Experience driving revenue and managing projects in a fast-growing company.
  • Creativity and Drive: Thoughtful, creative, and relentless in your approach.
  • Some familiarity with use cases of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
