The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has apprehended two consignments of Loud, a potent strain of cannabis, weighing a total of 5,344.1 kilogrammes along the Epe-Lekki highway and at the Alfa beach, Lekki region of Lagos state.
Based on solid intelligence, NDLEA agents ambushed a white truck with 50 huge bags of illegal material totalling 2, 434.1kg along the Epe-Lekki motorway in the early hours of Monday, 19th June.
After the anti-narcotics officers successfully demobilised the truck transporting the drug exhibits, the truck driver leapt off and fled in a security Hilux van escorting the cargo.
