Former Big Brother Naija housemate Leo Dasilva has expressed frustration over the alarming rate of fake products circulating in Nigeria.
Taking to Twitter, the reality star revealed that in just one month, he had unknowingly purchased counterfeit cod liver oil, Gestid, Sensodyne toothpaste, Simple face wash, deodorant, and mouthwash.
The amount of fake drugs, fake deodorants, fake toothpaste, and fake skincare in Nigeria is ridiculous. In one month, I have bought fake cod liver oil, fake Gestid, fake Sensodyne, fake Simple face wash, fake deodorant, etc. NAFDAC needs to raid all big supermarkets in Abuja,” he tweeted.
This isn’t the first time Leo has spoken out on social issues. Recently, he advised Nigerians to marry sensible partners or remain single, stating that “there’s nothing worse than marrying an idiot.”
Leo has also criticized Christians who call their pastors “daddy” or “spiritual father,” describing it as a red flag. Clarifying his personal faith journey, he explained that his decision to attend Theology school for two years was not to become a pastor but to gain a deeper understanding of God’s word.
