Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Linc Edochie, has stirred conversations after hinting that he has found love again.
Taking to his Facebook page, the son of veteran actor Pete Edochie shared that he was about to end his hectic day with a bottle of beer, a plate of pepper soup, and “some good loving” from his woman. While he didn’t reveal her identity, the post was enough to spark online reactions.
“It’s been a hectic day, and so far, the painting is coming out good. Time for a cold bottle of beer, a plate of pepper soup, and some good loving from my woman,” he wrote.
Following the update, his estranged wife, Yinka Theisen, reacted via her Facebook page. She expressed happiness that his new partner is local and not being used for immigration purposes, taking a subtle swipe at their past.
Hehehehehe, good for you, Linc! At least she is local & you are not using her to get a green card. Enjoy, my darling. Life is short & your gbola needs it. Brown Sugar is mega happy for you. I know this was meant for me, so I have responded,” she wrote.
In another post, Yinka made it clear she has moved on, stating that she and Linc were not compatible. The US citizen said she hopes he finds someone truly suited for him, though she criticized his habit of falling in love quickly and proposing after just three months of knowing someone.
As expected, netizens reacted to Linc’s post, with many predicting Yinka’s response. Some mocked her for “typing aggressively,” while others noted she had already been posting back-to-back since the news broke.
Linc and Yinka tied the knot in June 2025, but their union quickly faced turbulence after Yinka openly supported Yul Edochie and Judy Austin, a move that angered fans of May Edochie.
By June, Linc publicly distanced himself from Yinka’s online attacks, clarifying that he did not endorse her actions. He explained that it was better to remain single and at peace than stay in a union full of landmines.
In response, Yinka expressed her disappointment, accusing him of cowardice for publicly embarrassing her and vowing to respond in kind.
