Kostas Tsimikas has committed to Liverpool FC by signing a new long-term contract. The left-back, who originally joined the club from Olympiacos in August 2020, expressed his joy at extending his stay at Merseyside.

Tsimikas shared his thoughts, stating, “I feel very glad to be here to extend my contract. I feel like all the sacrifices I did and other things, the work I put in, [that] everything pays off.” He also emphasized his motivation to continue contributing to the team’s success.

Since his arrival at Liverpool, Tsimikas has made 63 appearances and provided 12 assists. He is famously remembered for his crucial penalty in the Reds’ Emirates FA Cup final victory against Chelsea in 2022, along with helping secure the Carabao Cup in the 2021-22 season.

Tsimikas is optimistic about the future, saying, “More success, more work, and more trophies. For me, it is the most important thing, to win trophies, to be committed in every situation, to be part of all of this.”

With Tsimikas’s continued dedication, Liverpool FC aims to achieve even greater heights in the coming seasons
