What was meant to be a day of joy turned into a heated social media face-off as Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin marked her 5th wedding anniversary by calling out fellow actress Iyabo Ojo with a series of explosive allegations.
Taking to her Instagram page, Lizzy shared a lengthy post where she accused Iyabo of orchestrating a relentless campaign to destroy her marriage, business, and reputation since she tied the knot in 2020.
According to Lizzy, Iyabo has gone as far as hiring someone to secretly film her husband’s private moments, forging a death certificate to scam people through fake donation drives and Facebook monetisation, and allegedly attempting to kidnap her with armed men in the dead of night.
“Happy wedding anniversary to me and my crown,” Lizzy began.
“Iyabo Ojo, I can boldly tell the world that since I officially married my husband, you’ve made life unbearable for yourself and your children.”
She further alleged that Iyabo moved into her estate shortly after her wedding, consistently stalked her and her family, and even targeted an infant. She claimed Iyabo weaponised others with false stories to gain sympathy and collect donations online.
Lizzy also recounted a moment when Iyabo supposedly lied to her about receiving a diamond ring from Senator Dino Melaye, shortly after her wedding.
“What was your purpose in fabricating stories about that diamond ring?” she asked. “To do what again? Gangan.”
According to Lizzy, these actions have affected her peace of mind and family, and she believes Iyabo has taken things too far.
The online drama comes shortly after a Lagos court dismissed the ₦1 billion defamation lawsuit Iyabo Ojo filed against Lizzy Anjorin. Reacting to the verdict, Lizzy took to social media again to mock her colleague.
In response, Iyabo went live on Instagram to defend herself, stating clearly that she is not friends with Lizzy and owes her no form of loyalty. She also warned that should anything happen to her or her children, Lizzy should be held responsible.
This feud between the two Nollywood stars has been brewing for months. Earlier this year, Iyabo had already called out Lizzy for alleged bullying and repeated harassment of her loved ones.
