Loan Officers Job Description
- Promote/market clients’ products to prospective clients.
- Conduct physical evaluation of potential client’s business(es).
- Conduct verification for guarantors as provided by prospective clients.
- Analyze financial data of clients’ businesses.
- Carry out a simple analysis of quantitative and qualitative data of client businesses and households.
- Prepare loan documents for Credit Committee to support a decision on loan approval.
- Present loan files to Credit Committee for approval and disbursement.
- Enter loan files in the company’s MIS.
- Conduct monitoring visits to businesses and households to follow upter disbursement of loans.
- clients on clients to ensure timely repayment of loans.
- Manage loan recovery from active and write-off clients to ensure all loans given to clients are recovered.
- Assess the impact of the loan on the client’s business before seeking loan renewal.
Loan Officers Qualifications
- BSc/HND qualifications in marketing, business administration, economics, social sciences, or other related field.
- 0-2years working experience
- Employability skills training certification would be an added advantage
