Nollywood actress Lola Alao warmly welcomed Priscilla Ojo to Canada following the news of her pregnancy with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.
Shortly after Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux announced they were expecting their first child, Lola Alao — who lives in Canada — was seen at the airport receiving Priscilla with a flower bouquet and colorful balloons.
The sweet moment was captured in a video Lola shared online, where she called Priscilla her “angel.” The warm welcome comes not just as a gesture of love, but as a continuation of the strong bond between Lola and Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla’s mother.
Over the years, the two actresses have built a tight friendship. Just last month, Lola celebrated Iyabo’s son, Festus, like her own child, praising his character and even singing for him on his birthday.
Lola has also stood firmly by Iyabo Ojo during difficult times. When social media users came hard at Iyabo over her public opinions, Lola spoke up in her defense, calling her a selfless and generous woman who always puts others before herself.
Their friendship goes way back. Two years ago, Lola revealed that Iyabo visited her in Canada and helped promote her clothing business, which instantly boosted her sales. In her words, “Iyabo is a blessed child.”
