Manchester United have released official statement on Jadon Sancho. “Jadon Sancho will remain on a personal training programme away from the first-team group — pending resolution of a squad discipline issue”, club reports.
Jadon Sancho has asserted that he’s been “held responsible unfairly for quite a while” as the Manchester United winger responded to manager Erik ten Hag’s statement about his omission from the Arsenal match, attributing it to subpar training performances.
The 23-year-old did not make the trip to north London for Sunday’s Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium, which saw United suffer a 3-1 defeat with two late goals in injury time.
Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, Sancho said: “Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is (sic) completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week.
“I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, l’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair! “All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team.
