Job Purpose
Responsible for the MEP Budget – Ordering Cost Control within the company.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all Purchase and Works Orders by the Project team are referenced and well-evaluated project-wise.
- To know how to spool out desired reports from the report center on procurement, inventory, financial accounting, etc.. from the Opticon database when required.
- To Track/ Monitor Order and Payment information daily referencing the ERP Software.
- To know how to use Google Sheets for correct information matching
- Consult Project Manager(s) and Site Engineer(s) daily on specific areas of ongoing MEP jobs for proper order cost allocation.
- To know how to prepare a work breakdown structure (WBS) for the contract project using the approved program of works for the project
- Weekly Reporting on Budget – Cost Control captured on all projects
- To perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good team playing skills.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to analyze information data
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Basic knowledge of database software
- Good spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
- Strong reading comprehension
- Strong and above-average mathematics skills Effective problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Operate standard office equipment like printers, scanner, etc
- Good understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software process
- Good proficiency in the use of computers (Microsoft Office suite)
- Good understanding of MEP Resource Categorization
- Good knowledge of all MEP resource labels and descriptions
