Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson has addressed circulating rumours about her marriage to politician Prince Odi Okojie, using humour and sarcasm on social media to shut down speculation.
Recently, a blog by Stella Dimoko Korkus alleged that Johnson was feuding with her husband’s side chicks. The blog further claimed that one of the women had allegedly been impregnated by the politician, and that Mercy intervened to sabotage the situation.
In response, Mercy shared loved-up photos of herself and her husband on Instagram with a witty caption:
“Omo, no sleep for the wicked o. I never sleep.”
Her post immediately drew reactions from fellow celebrities. Yvonne Jegede commented, “This your caption. I love it,” while Tonto Dikeh reacted with laughing emojis. Empress Njamah jokingly asked if she should recommend sleeping pills “only for the wicked.” Other fans joined in, leaving humorous and supportive comments.
Mercy Johnson and her husband recently celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary with family photos, praising God for preserving their union despite challenges. She described her husband as her friend and strength and credited God for guiding them through difficulties.
The actress has consistently prioritized her family, often sharing heartfelt moments with her husband and their four children. On Father’s Day, she posted a video of the family in matching outfits, describing her husband as “nature’s masterpiece” and emphasising how much her children appreciate his love.
