Major General Ibrahim Sallau Ali, the new Force Commander of the Multinational Joint Task Force, MNJTF, has stated that efficient coordination and synergy among heads of security agencies will result in the full annihilation of bandits and terrorists inside the impacted regions.
Lieutenant Colonel Abubakar Abdullahi, Military Public Information Officer, N’djamena, released the statement.
According to the statement, Major General Ibrahim Sallau Ali, Commander of the MNJTF, thanked the Chadian Armed Forces for their assistance and called for more collaboration to help the MNJTF fulfil its mandate.
He expressed this during his first visit to the Chadian Chief of General Staff’s office when he also commended General Daoud’s leadership role and ongoing support for the MNJTF’s accomplishments.
He stated that engagement and coordination among member nations will successfully combat terrorist activities and preserve peace and stability in the Lake Chad region.
The Force Commander emphasised the importance of enhanced cooperation from member nations, especially Chad, in terms of information sharing, people, and resources to successfully confront the shared enemy.
General Daoud responded by assuring the Force Commander and the MNJTF of Chad Armed Forces’ preparedness to give continuing support and assistance in attaining the mission’s aims.
