In a recent interview with Kemi Olunloyo, Mohbad’s father, Mr. Joseph Aloba, has shared more insights into the tragic death of his son, further stirring the ongoing controversy.
Mohbad’s father expressed his deep disappointment with Mohbad’s close friend, Bella Shmuda, and revealed new details about the late musician’s plans and concerns before his untimely demise.
Mr. Aloba disclosed his dissatisfaction with Bella Shmuda, recounting a conversation where he urged Bella to convince Omowunmi, Mohbad’s wife, to undergo a DNA test. Contrary to his expectations, Bella went behind his back and rented an apartment for Omowunmi, which Mr. Aloba found shocking and disappointing.
Adding to the complexity of the situation, Mr. Aloba revealed that two weeks before his death, Mohbad had told him about his plans to buy a house. He mentioned that Mohbad had already made a deposit and was eager to complete the purchase.
He promised that once he paid the balance, he would invite me to see the house,” Mr. Aloba said. He also noted that three days before Mohbad’s death, construction was ongoing at the new house’s gate, indicating that the purchase might have been finalized.
The interview with Kemi Olunloyo also brought to light a leaked audio where Mr. Aloba suggested that DNA concerns were partly to blame for Mohbad’s death. He recounted an incident where Mohbad’s childhood friend, Primeboy, confirmed that Mohbad had doubts about the paternity of his son, Liam. This doubt surfaced during a fight between Mohbad and Omowunmi after his last performance.
This is not the first time Mr. Aloba has pointed fingers at Omowunmi. Just a week ago, Mr. Aloba accused Omowunmi of paternity fraud, citing Liam’s bow legs as evidence.
There is no history of bow legs in the Aloba family,” he boldly stated, implying that Omowunmi had been unfaithful.
