Nollywood actress Moyo Lawal is celebrating her birthday today, sharing a powerful message of resilience, faith, and gratitude.
The actress expressed that if anyone had told her she would see 2025, she would have considered them a liar. Reflecting on the difficulties she has faced, Moyo recalled a humbling conversation with God where she asked, “Why me?” to which God replied,
Why not me? You are one of my bravest soldiers, and I will not burden you with what I know you can’t handle.”
Moyo’s reflection serves as a testament to God’s power and deliverance, emphasizing that even in the most challenging times, we are being prepared for great things. She expressed gratitude for her supportive friends and family, who helped her heal and rediscover her strength.
In her Instagram post, she wrote:
“I am a shining example of no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). I remember in one of my most humbling reflections, I asked God ‘Why me?’ and He replied ‘Why not me?? You are one of my bravest soldiers…’”
On her special day, Moyo Lawal chose to extend her blessings by reaching out to the less privileged. She shared clips on Instagram showing her distributing foodstuffs, snacks, clothes, shoes, and other goodies to those in need. Moyo expressed that giving is always a blessing and shared her joy in making the lives of others better.
She said:
“Always a blessing to give. We always gain by giving love, so grateful we were able to share foodstuffs, snacks, goodies, clothes, and shoes with no issues.”
