Nigerian power couple Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola have shared rare details about the intense planning that went into their multiple wedding celebrations, admitting that the process was far from easy.

Speaking in a recent interview, the couple disclosed that they organised three weddings in three different countries within a short space of three months. According to them, the tight timeline made the entire experience overwhelming, especially as one event rolled into another with little breathing space.

Temi explained that their initial plan was a simple court wedding in Nigeria, but concerns around privacy quickly ruled that out. She noted that having a quiet ceremony locally would have been difficult due to public attention.

They then considered bringing court officials into their living room for a private civil ceremony. While Temi found the idea appealing, Mr Eazi was not fully on board, which led to several back-and-forth conversations and a rethink of their plans. A UK option also came up, but Temi said it did not feel personal enough to her.

Eventually, the couple settled on Monaco for their civil wedding, a decision Temi described as sentimental and meaningful. Reflecting on the entire experience, she admitted she underestimated the process of getting married.

According to her, marriage was not just about love and signing documents, but involved extensive coordination, paperwork, and detailed planning. She described it as a mountain of administration she never saw coming.

The couple later went on to host their traditional wedding in Dubai and their white wedding in Iceland. Their wedding journey became public after they shared official photos with Vogue, confirming that they tied the knot in Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland.

Temi later explained that Iceland was chosen for their white wedding because of its significance to their relationship, as it reminded them of their early travels together and the connection they felt to the country.

Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola got engaged in April 2022, and Temi has previously shared that she accepted his proposal because of the peace and certainty she felt with him, describing him as her soulmate.
