NBA Lifts Suspension on Draymond Green After 12-Game Ban

Golden State Warriors’ forward Draymond Green is set to return to action as the NBA lifts his suspension following a 12-game absence. The ban was imposed after Green struck Phoenix Suns player Jusuf Nurkic in the face during a December match, resulting in an automatic ejection.

The NBA clarified that Green’s reinstatement came after he demonstrated commitment to conforming his conduct to the expected standards for NBA players. The 33-year-old engaged in counseling sessions and met jointly with representatives from the NBA, the Warriors, and the National Basketball Players Association.

This suspension marked the third ejection for Green in the current season, with a history of unsportsmanlike acts, including a five-game ban in November and previous incidents leading to ejections and suspensions.

While Green makes his comeback, other NBA highlights include Giannis Antetokounmpo’s impressive performance of 48 points and 17 rebounds for the Milwaukee Bucks, despite their 112-108 loss to the Houston Rockets. Additionally, Jayson Tatum led the Boston Celtics to a 118-101 victory against the Indiana Pacers with a remarkable display of 38 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists, making eight of 13 three-point attempts.

As the league welcomes Green back into the Warriors’ lineup, fans anticipate how his return will impact the team’s dynamics and performance in upcoming games.
