Rolan Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established with a mandate to create a realistic, effective, and impactful difference in the lives of vulnerable and less-privileged persons living in urban, rural, and hard-to-reach communities in Nigeria. We aim to achieve this mission through operations in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the year 2030:
Job Description
- We are looking for an Accountant and Admin Officer to manage our company’s accounts payable and receivable. Your responsibilities include reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments to external partners and maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts.
- To be successful in this role, you should have a Finance or Accounting background and be familiar with bookkeeping.
- Ultimately, you will ensure we process all financial transactions accurately and on time and perform Administrative duties. ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities
- Process bank deposits
- Reconcile financial statements
- Prepare, send and store invoices
- Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments
- Submit tax forms
- Identify and address discrepancies
- Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
- Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets.
Qualification
- With at least 5 years accounting and Admin experience
- Quickbooks and Sage Accounting is a must
- Tax experience is an added advantage. ACCOUNTANT
