Following the untimely passing of Nigerian artist Mohbad on September 12th, OAP and media personality Nedu Wazobia continues to contribute to the ongoing discussions surrounding the paternity of Mohbad’s son, Liam, and the controversial call for a DNA test.
In a recent episode of his podcast, “The Honest Bunch,” Nedu Wazobia shared his perspective on the matter. He emphasized that since Mohbad treated Liam as his son until his last moments, acknowledging him as such, there is no need for a DNA test. According to Nedu Wazobia, the fact that Mohbad embraced Liam as his own during his lifetime should be sufficient evidence of their father-son relationship.
The discussion around the DNA test gained momentum with accusations and doubts surfacing, especially concerning Liam’s paternity. Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, recently broke her silence on the matter, expressing her willingness to undergo a DNA test if someone else sponsors and covers the costs. She revealed financial struggles since Mohbad’s passing, adding complexity to the situation.
Among those urging for a DNA test is Very Dark Man, who has voiced suspicions, particularly directed at Mohbad’s wife. He emphasized the need for a conclusive DNA test to put to rest any doubts regarding Liam’s parentage.
