Popular Nigerian TikTok content creator, Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, widely known as Peller, has allegedly been kidnapped while streaming live on social media.
According to reports making rounds online, the incident happened while he was returning from buying food. Peller was said to have been stopped by armed men who ordered him out of his car.
In the viral live video, the TikTok star could be seen struggling as the men forcefully dragged him out of the vehicle before eventually overpowering him and whisking him away.
His girlfriend, Jadrolita, confirmed the unsettling news via her Instagram story, posting crying emojis that have since raised more concern among fans.
The incident has divided social media, as while some Nigerians are deeply worried, others suspect it could be a staged act for content.

Peller gained popularity with his eccentric TikTok videos and went viral after superstar Tiwa Savage joined one of his live sessions with his girlfriend, Jadrolita. The moment — which saw Tiwa showing off her tattoo — set social media abuzz, with Peller’s reaction leaving many entertained.
In previous interviews, the TikTok sensation revealed the secret behind his rise. According to him, acting like a “dull person” attracted more engagement than speaking polished English. He once disclosed that his biggest earning on TikTok was a staggering ₦10 million in a single night.
