Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing, has once again voiced her frustrations over colleagues who engage in badmouthing others.
Taking to her Instagram page, Nkechi expressed her disdain for those who speak ill of others behind their backs while acting friendly to their faces.
In her post, she urged such individuals to drop this toxic behavior in 2024, calling them “two-faced bastards.” Her message was clear:
If you must quit something this year, quit the habit of spoiling people’s names at their back and shining your dirty teeth when you see them. Let it go with 2024, please. Two-faced bastards.”
This is not the first time Nkechi Blessing has addressed this issue. Last year, in September, she called out colleagues who slander others to movie producers and directors, reminding them of the consequences they would face on judgment day.
Similarly, actress Motilola once accused her senior colleague Kunle Afod and his wife, Desola, of sabotaging her career. In May, Motilola opened up about the emotional toll their interference had taken on her career, pleading with them to stop defaming her name.
Actress Kiitan Bukola also recounted in April how an unnamed colleague manipulated a movie producer against her, resulting in a lost opportunity. Likewise, Biodun Okeowo and Habibat Jinad have faced similar issues in the Nollywood industry, dealing with colleagues who attempt to sabotage their success.
This growing pattern of slander within Nollywood has become a topic of public concern, with many speaking out against such behaviour.
